Memorial Day Weekend

Hi friends,

Wow - this was a lot of fun to put together. I hope you enjoy my pre-trip musings, periodic whines and progress reports.

It's almost dinner time on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. It's a gorgeous day, and we're all looking forward to a great weekend. I can't help thinking about what next year at this time will be like? I love the Sandwich small-town Memorial Day Parade. Will Ketchikan have one, too? Will spring have sprung the way it has here? I've got lots of questions but not so many answers.
